To be eligible for one of our certified service dogs, individuals must have a disability that is documented and diagnosed by a licensed medical doctor. This can include a range of physical disabilities, as well as mental health conditions such as P.T.S., anxiety, depression, and other emotional disorders. The certification process ensures that each service dog is specifically trained to meet the unique needs of their handler.

Our service dogs undergo rigorous training to perform specific tasks that assist their handlers in daily life activities. These tasks can include, but are not limited to, retrieving items, opening doors, alerting to medical conditions, and providing physical stability. The training process is comprehensive and tailored to the individual needs of the handler, ensuring that the dog can effectively support their partner.

Once the training is completed, the service dog is matched with a handler based on the handler's specific requirements and lifestyle. This matching process is crucial to creating a strong bond and ensuring effective support. Handlers are also provided with training to work seamlessly with their new service dog, promoting a successful partnership.

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), our certified service dogs are granted public access rights. This means they can accompany their handlers in nearly all public places, such as restaurants, hospitals, stores, and airplanes. These rights are essential to allowing individuals with disabilities to fully participate in society and access the support they need.

Our service dogs also receive certifications that comply with state and federal regulations, ensuring that they are recognized and protected under the law. This legal backing plays a significant role in supporting the independence and confidence of our handlers.
